Established in 1998 ad by a team of scholars WITH academic and administrative experience in Nepal and abroad (Hong Kong, Brunei, AND UK), Universal College is a totally English medium co-educational institute which caters for the educational needs of the students from Nursery to THE Master's level.

Committed to cater for a strong base of knowledge and character building in conformity with our national heritage and ethos, UC aspires to equip its product with a high degree of professional know-how and skill for global needs. Everything here is managed for action, for hand-on experience and to get students connected with people, equipment and programs they need to start building the edifice of their life. Our students will get plenty of opportunity here to expand themselves and develop as a wholesome person. We believe what is important at his level is how they apply their knowledge to life and whether information teaches them something they can use in a productive way. In other words, Universal College does not aim to provide fish to eat but teaches students to fish so that they can eat fish for a life-time. Through its various programs, Universal College wants to give the students experience of working with people in order to promote career advancement. UC works with students and employers to set up fixed experiences that lay the groundwork for employment after their education at this college.

After completion of three years at Universal College, the students will be eligible to pursue higher education in their related fields of studies in any university worldwide. • School (from Nursery to Class X) at Tudal Devi, Baluwatar.


• +2 program in Science, Management and Humanities at Maitidevi opposite the main bus stop.


• BBS: a 3-year program affiliated to TU since 2054.


• BBA: a 4-year semester system program affiliated to TU since 2061.


• B.Sc. in Biochemistry: a 4-year semester system program affiliated to Pokhara University since 2000 A.D. Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Prasad Agrawal is the Director of the Program.


• BA with English Major: a 3-year program affiliated to Tribhuvan University launched from 2006. English and Sociology are offered as major subjects. Prof Dr. Shreedhar Prasad Lohani is the Chief Advisor to this Program.


• MA in English: a 2-year program affiliated to Tribhuvan University launched from November 2005. Prof Dr. Shreedhar Prasad Lohani is the Chief Advisor to this Program.
